The Excellence in Supplier Diversity Program recognizes and honors corporation members for their supplier-diversity program that have successfully integrated supplier diversity into their corporation and have meaning results in certified women’s business enterprise spend. The program recognizes those companies as Emerging, Advanced, or Best-In-Class Corporation categories.

The application process is very comprehensive and evaluates how intrinsic supplier diversity is in the organization’s culture and sourcing practices. Application measures corporate commitment through leadership commitment, leadership and management accountability, sourcing goals and activities, tier two goals and activities, supplier capacity building initiatives, communications, involvement, and support of advocacy groups.
Emerging reflects that a corporation has demonstrated an increasing commitment to advancing capacity building and contracting opportunities for certified women business owners.
Advanced reflects that a corporation has documented a strong commitment to women’s business enterprise advocacy, capacity building and contracting. Advanced category award winners are leaders among their peers.
Best in Class reflects that a corporation has excelled in all major categories surveyed including women business enterprise spend and capacity building, and advocacy for women–owned businesses.
