Applications are open for EMU’s Empowerment Program supporting entrepreneurs from low income families across Southeastern Michigan. Participants receive free microlearning with certification, hands on coaching, customized business and technical assistance, 100 hours of part time work for their business, and six thousand dollars in financial support.
The application deadline is December 5, with decisions on December 15. Program orientation is January 13.
Eligibility to apply includes:
* Residency is in Southeast Michigan
* Business is located in Southeast Michigan
* Active involvement in the business
* Member of a low-income household
