Oakland County Loan Program

Oakland County Loan

The Oakland County Small Business Loan Program was created through a partnership between Oakland County, the Oakland County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), CEED Lending and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

“The Oakland County Micro Loan Program is an important tool to help our existing small businesses grow and prosper,” Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson said. “The program has provided nearly $1 million in loans while creating or retaining more than 200 jobs for our small businesses. This is a government program that really works.”

The loans are geared towards small businesses that are unable to get financing from traditional sources. The loan can be used for equipment, inventory, supplies and some working capital.

The Oakland County Loan Program has provided $800,000 in loans – creating 111 jobs and retaining 117 more.
