Marketing Coordinator
Reports to the Marketing & Engagement Manager | Full-Time Position
Objective | Assist Marketing & Engagement Manager in implementing marketing plan and events
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Assist with marketing activities for signature events (in-person, virtual)
- Assist with other marketing and communication projects
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Craft and post engaging relevant content to constantly align content with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people on website and social media
- Create social media marketing campaigns and use #hashtags
- Develop, implement, and manage Great Lakes WBC social media strategy
- Interacting with clients and other stakeholders via social media accounts
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Prepare monthly social media performance and analysis reports
- Provide constructive feedback
- Regularly post text, video and images that engage the company’s target market, follow online conversations on a company’s social media accounts and solve customer concerns using social media platforms
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
- SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of followers and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Work with a sense of urgency according to schedules and meet business goals
Other Responsibilities:
- Attend regular staff meetings
- Other responsibilities as needed

Desired Skills:
- Marketing experience required
- Strong social media knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Marketing or Communication preferred
- Video experience preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as with committees
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Skilled in using social media platforms and tools that analyze social media
- Time management and organizing tasks to meet deadlines is essential
- Must be able to perform virtually as well as in office
