We pride ourselves on creating opportunities for our members to be connected and engaged.

One way to showcase your business and reach potential customers is to volunteer. We offer numerous volunteer opportunities to cultivate relationships and spur business growth. 2. Conduct site visits in areas not easily reached by Certification Review Committee members

Part of the CEED Lending loan application process includes a thorough review by our Loan Review Committee. The committee is comprised of financial, community and small business professionals dedicated to growing the local economy. The Loan Review Committee meets regularly via conference call with our Loan Officer to review loan applications.
1. Attend 3 in-person meetings that are held in conjunction with WBENC Summit & Salute and National Conference. Your attendance at the events is expected
2. Ability to serve on WBENC standing committees
3. Must be certified for 3-years or more and in good standing to qualify
4. Must be actively involved and supporting the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council
5. Nominations are made to the Great Lakes WBC Executive Director annually

Awards Dinner or Great Lakes Women’s Business Conference1. Attend planning meetings and conference calls (6 month planning period or less)
2. Assist with recruitment of attendees, exhibitors, and possibly sponsors
3. Assist with selection of workshop presenters, give-away products and direction of conference
4. Be prepared to be an active participant including sponsoring the event
